After renting from a private individual for seven years, I terminated the lease as of July 1st and the keys were handed over on August 1st. The landlord was on vacation and I was only called by one of their own real estate agents on July 31st. I asked if I could have 2 extra days because I had to do everything myself. So the real estate agent only came to look at the house on August 3rd and took my key. Without putting it in writing for receipt. Now I receive a bill for 1800 euros. With deduction of 725 euros in deposit, 1200 euros remains. But I have never had the opportunity to consult with the landlord about renovating the house, let alone the time. I am also expected to pay the real estate agent.
