Tenancy law: Shed at your home?
Questioner
I rent a house but I don't have a shed, which was removed by the housing association because of asbestos. So now I am without storage space and according to the housing association, a new shed will be at my own expense. Doesn't a shed or storage room simply belong with a rental property?Lawyer
A shed is not a standard part of a rental property. But: you have apparently rented a property with a shed. The landlord must therefore place a new shed free of charge.
