Legal advice on converted cars
Questioner
Dear Sir/Madam. I read your response from Mr. Martijn de Schepper with interest, on the subject of a re-registered car and then? However, I want to let you know that it is not as simple as you make it out to be. Go and get your story from the seller, etc.! The crucial point in re-registering is that a car is approved by the RDW after import and registered. So far nothing wrong. However, the malicious seller then transfers the approved chassis number from the RDW to a younger car. The seller of this car then insists that he knows nothing and is not responsible for the re-registering. Then go and get your story from the seller. Kind regards from:Lawyer
You are right in that sense that the malicious seller will probably not simply pay compensation for the damage. Even winning a procedure in court does not mean that you will get your money. So it is certainly not easy.Take the next step
