Liability in case of Provider Change

Questioner

I requested an all-in-one package (TV, phone, internet) from a provider, and they promised to cancel my current provider. Now it turns out the new provider hasn't done so, and they think this is my problem.

Questioner

Dear questioner, This isn't your problem and constitutes a deficient service on the part of the new provider, which can be held liable for the additional costs. You can write a letter to the new provider stating that contractual obligations have been breached and that you are claiming (consequential) damages and demanding compliance within two weeks.
