Parental authority and visitation arrangements

I'm the father of a son. I have parental authority and acknowledgement of my child. He's with my ex. My ex currently works shifts, sometimes night shifts, and day or evening shifts on weekends, and once a week evening shifts. I work Monday to Friday, from 7:00 to 3:30 in the afternoon. I want my child to be with me. If my ex works, am I entitled to that?

You can propose this to your ex and record it in an agreement. If your ex refuses to cooperate, you can, with the help of a lawyer, present it to the judge. The judge will make a decision on your proposal.
